Omnia – Amsterdam Publisher offers opportunities to volunteers to extend its activities in the areas of:

  • Assessment of manuscripts
  • Contacts with authors
  • Editing and proofreading of manuscript
  • Design of publications
  • Preparing editions for publishing
  • Marketing and promotion of authors, publications and the publisher
  • Distribution of publications

Who are we?

Omnia – Amsterdam Publisher is a small a non-profit publisher in the field of philosophy, religion and literature. Omnia – Amsterdam Publisher has as objective:

“Deepening and widening the look on our life through publications on the interfaces between literature, philosophy and religion.
We strive to make the world a better place for everyone.
Through our books we wish to contribute to peace and happiness”.

Omnia – Amsterdam Publisher publishes its books under the Creative Commons License. The publisher releases its titles (in English and in Dutch) as e-books in PDF-format on its website. The titles can be read and downloaded free of charge – with a suggestion for a donation of € 20.00 to a charity of the reader’s choice.

What will you do?

Depending on your interests, experience and capabilities, you will develop independently – or under supervision – one or more activities within the publisher. The allocation of the activities within the team will be determined in consultation with the founder/owner.

Who are you?

Preferably you have experience in one or more disciplines of book publishing. In addition, you wish to contribute to the editing, design, promotion and/or distribution of books that focus on the interface between philosophy, literature and religion.

You know how to work to deadlines, you are critical and you have a good sense of humour.
